In my paintings, I strive to capture the essence of the scapes I view. A sense of it’s color, texture, shape, energy, sound and smell . . . all in one quick painting. No embellishments, just bare-bone interpretation of what I see and the feeling it evokes in me at that particular viewing moment in time. To intuitively select and paint the “right” visual mark on the paper that will give the viewer a sense of place and time and personality of the scape I have painted is what it’s all about! ME +PAINTING +VIEWER = ONE.
